Jane Blackburn Psychologist



Jane is a registered psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia and a member of the Australian Association of Psychologists (Inc). She is also a registered teacher with the Queensland College of Teachers.
Jane completed her Psychology degree with First Class Honours from Southern Cross University. She has also achieved a Master of Education (ACU), a Bachelor of Science (GU), a Graduate Diploma in Teaching (ACU) and a Graduate Certificate in Applied Linguistics (GU).

Jane has worked in a wide range of contexts, including leading tertiary institutions, Catholic and Independent Primary and Secondary schools, and in a Not-for-Profit organisation in Child Protection/Foster Care.
Jane has an abundance of experience as a teacher, in leadership roles, and as a Guidance Counsellor. At present, Jane is working as a Psychologist in Private Practice and successfully supports children, adults, and families from a range of backgrounds and life situations, including First Nations Peoples, those from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, and LGBTIQ+ individuals.
